While we at Her Heart is Vegan don’t exactly eat a gluten-free diet, I will say that it’s most definitely something we continue to experiment with. I personally think I feel better without gluten in my diet, especially when it comes to my skin!

The reason I crafted this bad boy is two-fold:
Store bought gluten-free flour blends are usually quite expensive and inconsistent in my recipes!
I was finding that most of the flour blend recipes I was finding online were overly complicated (sometimes calling for up to 6 different grains!) and didn’t always work the way I needed them too.
So, when something isn’t working, what do you suppose I’m gonna do? I’m gonna make that sucker work! My way!
What surprised me though, is that “less is more” is definitely an adage that applied to this recipe. Simply mix together the ingredients and store in an airtight container to use anytime you need! So easy!
3 Ingredient Gluten-Free Flour Blend
- 1.5 c brown rice flour
- .5 c white rice flour
- 3/4 c tapioca starch
Blend all 3 ingredients well.
Store in an airtight container until needed for ultimate deliciousness!
